A Code Focused Excavation Crew for Waco Job Sites

Mauricesklar handles land excavation, grading, and trenching for builders and property owners across Waco, Texas and the surrounding McLennan County jurisdictions. We run hydraulic excavators, crawler dozers, and skid steers with laser grade control, and every job is set up to clear the permit desk and the field inspection the first time.

Safety is not an add on for us. Trench cuts five feet deep and greater get a trench box, hydraulic shoring, or laid back benching, and a competent person inspects the excavation daily as OSHA 29 CFR 1926 Subpart P requires. Before any dig we file the free 811 utility locate so gas, water, and electric lines are marked and protected.

How We Work

• Documented compaction. Structural fill goes in to 95 percent of maximum dry density, verified with a Proctor test that inspectors and general contractors can file.
• Stormwater handled. On sites over one acre we install silt fence and inlet protection under a SWPPP and the EPA NPDES permit.
• Local knowledge. We know the permit path in Waco, Hewitt, and Woodway, and we dig to the grading plan, not around it.
• Licensed and insured. A real person answers when you call, and we are glad to share our details.
